Investing in pockets?

As a people we have rationalized a way of understanding space as language, we have created a technology made of many networked computational machines and called it virtual space because we need to understand this new language as a new kind of space.

We have conquered small pockets of this flexible space and given these pockets names, invested ourselves in them. We understand these pockets as forms; we have loaded images, words and time into them. We have given them bounding edges. Are these (pockets) the avatars I need to understand in my own practice?
